Starts for 1 sec then dies
94 Accord EX. Starts for about a second then immediately dies. Fuel, air, spark checked good. Replaced ICM, worked for a couple of days then problem came back. Thought the ICM was bad so I returned it for another one. Again, worked for a day, then problem came back. I don't want to hunt and peck any more. Thought it might be the ignition switch, so I tried holding it in start for a second or two after attempting a start. It ran for a second, stopped, then the starter engaged again. Thoughts?
Coil, plugs, distributor cap and plug wires are all new (within the past year).

It seems like spark to me, but if the whole system is new, I don't know what it could be.
Have you checked the actual fuel pressure, or did you just listen for the pump? You can get a pressure test gauge that screws into the top of the fuel filter for about $30.

Just a suggestion. They're handy to have around.

I have loosened the bolt for the fuel feed at the injectors and pressure seems to be plenty. Haven't measured it, but it seems that the problem wouldn't be quite as predictable as it seems to be.
Could something in the ignition switch be causing a fault in the ICM?

So you did check for spark right?
Valve clearance too tight will also cause the engine to run for a sec then shuts off at cold start-up, so check that too.
