Default car won't start, help needed

hey guys i own a 94 civic coupe. it has a jdm d15b in the car, but everything else is oem. i have been driving it with no issues but tried to start it this morning and it woult not start.

i hear no click so i tried to jump start it, that did no good and got the battery tested and the battery is perfectly fine. the starter was replaced around 5 months ago with a brand new one, at the same time as the battery.

everything powers up and works fine, but when i try to turn it over i hear no sounds. i can hear the fuel pump prime but that is about it. any suggestions? i'm at a loss at the moment.

The red arrow points to a rubber stopper that presses on the starter switch at the top of the clutch pedal. Did it fall out or break?

try tapping on starter solenoid and get someone to turn key while u bang and see if it starts(i know u replaced the starter but the way u explain it could be a defective starter)
