Icon2 Electrical - Dash board Fuse Panel questions

2000 Civic Si

Can I use the fuse panel under the left side of the steering column for my own applications. Basically Lights (L.E.Ds), Vtec controler, power for gauges. Its either that or I can just buy a fuse panel and run power from the battery. Im just wondering if that Fuse panel under the dash which has many vacant spots for power or will I overload the circuit? Im not too worried about having enough power because I have an optima yellow top and a 165 watt (double stock) alternator. Anybody know if I can use that fuse box or even if I can if its possible or gonna be a bitch to hook that stuff up to it.

Thanks
