Default piston movement in sleeve

(cp 81mm pistons, manley h beam rods, gsr, acl bearings stock bore with new hone)

so i assembled my block yesterday, and followed jeff evans videos and so on. i have a question about the piston having a lil movment in the sleeve with everything done. it seems to move with the wrist pin a lil both ways. the piston edges do not come in contact with the walls at anytime. any help is great.,
thanks guys

oh i just desided and said screw it and send the block to GE or darton and have it sleeved now then later. this is just a test process for me, im learning as i go with things. for some reason im thinking the machine shop mite have done something wrong. everything fit great before i dropped it off for a hone. maybe it was just me making a mistake somewhere but hey you gotta learn some how. like i side ill just get it sleeved. cause i was looking for 600 on stock sleeves on e85, but now ill set that a lil higher if i sleeve it.

well if every thing fit right before the hone it will be looser after words the hone does make the cylinder slightly bigger, just not as much as a boar would

lol im sure if you heated the piston first it would make a great tight fit lol. but it was my stupid fault so i blame no one but meyself.. but hey it makes me skip the stock sleeve setup and go right to the sleeved block. mite as well do it now. Someone from GE contacted me with info, great people looking out for the sport.

you should always supply the labeled pistons when boring and honing. If you don't give a clearance, a good machine shop would/should use the "stock" clearance for the pistons.
