NEED HELP: H2B EG Code 22 (vtec oil pressure switch)
i have a stock h2b setup and i get a code 22 everytime im in 5th gear around 80 mph...(please dont tell me to stop traveling at 80 mph and it wont come on)
i did all the haynes manual diagnoisis to fix this code and cel still pops on
-i check for continuity to the switch
-i check if switch has a proper ground
-i check if switch has power
-i clean up the screen for the vtec solenoid
-car has plenty of oil
i saw one post that a guy had a big dent on his oil pan and it cause a code 22(i dont know that make sense but...) and new pan fix problem
- my pan is not dented put due to the way the h22 sit in a civic u think it messing with the oil pressure causeing the light to come on
another problem is my h22 is not running right(ran 15.2 at track im pissed)
i want to know how to test to see if vtec is actually engage i believe that is my whole problem but i can never tell if it engageing or not(have chipped p28 from pherable)
please can someone give me some info

My b18c did that also when I revd around 8k in 3rd, an I noticed that my motor didnt have the vtec pressure switch(jdm motor dont have em) so I bypassed it by connecting the vtec pressure wire to the vtec soleniod wire, by the ecu..
i wired up a oil pressure switch... u think it will go away by bypassing it
