Default Heating issues

I just installed a turbo in my b16a and for some reason the headers are getting red hot and quick what could make it do this and what can i do to fix it. And when i first start it it idles fine and not even 2 sec later it jumps up to 3,000rpm?

I still have not hooked up my o2 sensor and Im use a chasebay wire harness if that makes anything different but everything is factory stock

Any help will be great!

It needs a tune it is running rich and hot. If you start running it hard the pistons and valves will melt, or the fuel will detonate prematurely and throw a rod. this is bad all around. Yes the O2 is a necessity because it determines the fuel map adjustments. The wire harness could be a problem but most likely if it is running OK then it is fine. Look into getting a chipped ecu with chrome s200 or hondata. a good place to look is, http://www.rywire.com/catalog/index.php . There is a lot that goes into successfully turbocharging a car and it lasting. The tune is most important. Also a good improvement is to go from OBD0 to OBD1.

Sorry i meant it is running lean and hot, had to edit today to get it straight.
