o2 sensor voltage to check if engine is running lean/rich??
I'm using an safc and i connected the blue wire to the o2 sensor wire on the ecu, to read the voltage. how do i know (from the voltage of the o2 sensor) if i'm lean or rich?
idle: .97 volts
wot: 3.0 volts
how do i know whether this is lean or rich?

Re: o2 sensor voltage to check if engine is running lean/rich?? (LS-G)
that's impossible
o2 voltage goes to 1V MAX.
so rich is anything over 900mv lean is under 300mv. stoich is about 500-600mv and optimal power should be around 800mv at WOT
i did the same trick with the S-AFC like you did.......you must have it on the wrong wire man.......

Re: o2 sensor voltage to check if engine is running lean/rich?? (non-VTEC)
i have the blue wire (coming from the safc harness) connected to the bigger diameter white wire on the ecu. i heard that is the correct wire, but that may be for a different car. What wire are you connected to?
btw, thanks for posting.
