UPDATED 06/09/11: GOT MY HEAD BACK FROM JOE ALANIZ TODAY AND HERE IS THE OUTCOME
.
HAD HIM DO:
Complete visual inspection of complete head.
Check all surfaces for straightness.
Complete disassembly.
Inspect all valvetrain parts for wear.
Degrease and clean head of all oils.
Competition Valve Job.
Resurface( minimim mill.)
Reassemble complete head.
Install all my new Supertech Valves / Dual Valve Springs / Ti-Retainers / Bronze Valve Guides / Valve Stem Seal.
Head has a Ported and Polish Chamber already.
as title say, would anybody recommend me taking my head to this shop or has anybody had work done with them?

they're good homie...my head was built from there...i got the alaniz competition head package...my shiet is still running strong til this day...
He does good work. I did a street port job and it is still running. Wish I went with a more aggressive port... And you have to keep tabs on him. Its hard to get a hold of him at times..
is it that hard to search "alaniz" ???
