Icon2 vtec swap ?

Ok, I have a 88 civic wagon that came with dual point, now with a d15b2 head, ported and polished while it was off, and shaved, I have swapped in the multi-point, dizzy, resistor box, and a pm6 ecu, and i did not buy a wire harness, that part was quite simple really if you understand wiring. Great upgrade and pretty easy!! Anyway now I would love to go vtec, can someone tell me what i will need and what all i will have to convert now to do this. Obviously i need a head, and don't care if i get a computer if the pm6 will work and just get an aftermarket controller, if I knew a decent one to buy and inexpensive. I also would prefer to not have to chip ecu cause they do pull computer to check

Thanks,

you need a vtec head. chipped p28 so you can tune or really any older chipped ecu. and run 3 wires from your ecu to your motor. convert to obd1. thats probably it

if you dont want it tuned just Drop a hole z6 or y8 or d15bvtec motor in there and use that motors ecu

Yes, planned on just swapping the Head, will my current ecu work with an aftermarket vtec controller, and if so, what controller is reasonably priced. Also do i have to do any more wiring, if so does anyone have a diagram of what needs to be wired?

im pretty sure a "aftermarket vtec controller" will only switch you cams over. via sending the signil to the vtec solenoid to do so. then all you are doing is running big cam lodbes with no more fuel or ignition then a stock a6.
