OK, so now that I'm going to be getting a bill for 2 grand for my transmission to support around 350 to 400 hp I figured I should upgrade my engine also to utilize that. I already bought JE pistons (9:1 compression) and ARP head studs but I haven't bought anything else yet. Here is what I was thinking but I'm not sure if I'm on target. I really just don't want to get some massive crap if I don't need it.

My list:
Crower rods
Micropolished crank
Darton iron sleeves
DSS stage II axles
Cometic 2.0mm headgasket

P.S. - My goal is 300 hp to the crank. Please help me, am I on target or not?

 

Why not Eagle Rods, and use the xtra money elsewhere.
And go w/ AEM or Hondata...

If you are just shooting for about 300 horse to the crank. I would just stay stock and just buy a EMS or Hondata and tune it. I have total confidence in stock honda parts and 300 horse should be obtainable. Just my .02 cents though. Anyone else?

 

I already have a Hondata 2bd. Are RC 440 injectors big enough to handle 300 hp because I already have them?
