Icon3 Why isn't my 95 Honda Civic not running right?

I have a 95 honda civic with a D16z6 motor. I pulled the motor out and I cleaned and painted the motor, then I put it back in and now the engine isnt running right at all. It feels and sounds like it's running off of 2 cylinders, there is no power and it is back firing. Before I pulled the motor out it was running perfect!

CEL codes?

Mechanical timing correct?

Plug wires installed in correct firing order?

Ignition timing set to spec?

What condition are the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor?

The use of double negatives in the thread title implies it's running fine....

But ... follow Ron's advice...
