95 civic dx d15b7 with about 180k on it has me stumped---the car runs good aside from losing some coolant. Possible Headgasket, possible leak ( have to crawl under her this weekend to find leak or purchase HG, lol)
Anyhow car runs fine 85% of the time, plenty of power....no issues and then all of a sudden it'll run like absolute garbage for a bit...then go back to normal. I see no external factors that contribute to the issue. It isn't hot, cold, wet, dry...nothing really out of the ordinary. Just sometimes it'll start up and run fine, sometimes it'll be running like absolute trash.

Anyone got any ideas? Running rough constantly would be easier to diagnose. Running rough when it is fleeting is slightly harder.

I ordered a full tune-up kit (plugs, wires, fuel filter, pcv, cap, rotor, etc) but I hate throwing parts at the car that it doesn't need or is functioning within spec. Anyhow I appreciate anything any has to offer up...Im literally stumped to what would cause it.

try cleaning you'r iacv ddid the d15b7 comes with a fitv ? if so clean/adjust as needed. that could help it running like **** on start up.
