Couple of questions regarding ls swap
I have 00 Civic Ex. I just picked up a full ls swap with gsr tranny for $750. The ls has around 100,000 miles. My current goals are to swap in a reliable powerplant that has potential while I finish the other parts of my car. I currently have a y7/8 mini me that has over 200,000 on it leaks oil in every possible place lol. I know I am going to have to pick up a few mounts from the 99-00 SI. I also plan on doing timing belt, water pump, plugs, wires and new gaskets on the Ls before dropping in. I haven't really decided if I want a all motor lsvtec or turbo ls yet so i don;t plan on touching much internals at the moment. I have a few questions listed below but if there is any other advice that anyone wants to give I am all eyes and ears. With the swap costing 750 I am looking to keep my budget below 1500 to get this engine in the car and running.
1. Worth while to upgrade motor mounts? if so reasonable brand
2. Anything else that should be replaced while engine is out?
3. Exedy clutch/fidanza 7.5lb flywheel combo worth while?
