Hey everyone,

This is my first post on this forum so I apologize if this has already been covered. I looked through some of the threads and didn't find the information I'm looking for.

I'm going to be swapping a K20A2 into my 2002 Civic Si Coupe. This is not the hatchback model Si.

I'm not completely familiar with the 7th gen civics so I'm just inquiring here as I would like to be well prepared and I'm hoping some people here have some useful knowledge.

I have 2 potential sellers of this engine and I just have a few questions before I choose which one to buy from. One of the sellers is pulling the motor out of his RSX, the other has a motor already out that he was going to swap into his 05 civic.

My main question is this : The gentleman with the motor already out ready to swap has an RSX subframe, is this something I will require?

I'm just not certain how directly compatible this engine is with my car. Will it bolt right in? Are there any concerns with the shifter or wiring compatibilities?

Any advice or warnings before I go ahead and pull my current engine out would be greatly appreciated.
