rsx base and type S motor into 7thgen civic.
has anyone here done this before? engine layout is the same so will it bolt right into a 7th gen civic coupe?

Hasport has a new SI w/ RSX-S in it, they might have the mounts out already. But...you have to drop the engine from the bottom. Hope you have a lift.

Yeah hasport made everything i am not sure if they are marketing it all now but i have seen it. IMO not worth all that money for the motor for 40 more horses. i hear that the RSX-s motors are going for a very pretty penny.

Although the post is confusing, I think this guy is talking about putting the engine in the coupe not the hatch. But of course the engine configuration is not the same. I just completed my RSX type S engine swap into a 2001 Civic Sedan. We had to make a kit for that. I am putting the kits on sale sometime in late November. Pictures of the kit will be available soon, as well as a description of the swap and parts needed.
