I was given a CF hood for my 93si (For FREE !!!), the only problem is that the previous owner tried to fix the clearcoat by painting on paint stripper or adhesive remover and wiping it off. Looking for a challenge, I want to fix it and put it on my car, but have no clue on how to go about it correctly. Any help would be greatly appreciated . . . .

 

You'll basically just need to sand it smooth and re-clear. Try not to get down into the actual carbon.

 

post some pics, but years basically just stand down the high spots . don't over do it
