Hey, I just recently picked up a RHD converted ek hatch. It was a firewall conversion. It is currently running the stock single cam. I am wanting purchase a complete b series swap to put in. My question is, will the b series swap be the same as a non-converted rhd during installation ? Is there anything I should be aware of?

You're going to get crap for having a non-specific thread title. The wiring harness will be different, the A/C lines will be different.

I've never done a RHD conversion, but my JDM B18C was RHD and this is what I noticed

 

i thought everything was thesame just instead of being on the left its on the right like the Clutch MC and the Break Booster/MC

 

I'm picking up a 2000 USDM ITR swap with papers and trying to get everything figured out so I'm prepared. Just wondering if I can get facts before starting.

 

I haven't read that it's different for the engine itself. It's all the other stuff that you have to worry about.

Did you not do any research on your own? Anything on the right side will get relocated to the left and vice-versa. How do people start projects like this and not have a plan ready? Your research thus far is to ask people on a forum? So you're NOT prepared.

If the D is already sitting in the engine bay then you should just be able to swap it out.

 

Forgot to mention, the car is currently running the jdm harness.
