I was installing fog lights on my car and the power source that i was using hit a ground. So now when i go to turn on the parking lights no lights come on. I changed the relay still nothing and the power source grounded its self so i had to connect another live wire in order to get my parking lights, dash, and license plate lights to come on. Does anyone have an idea of what can be the problem?


i have to jump the two lines together for all the lights to come on help plz.

 

Check fuse #2 (15 amp) in the fuse box under the hood. If the fuse is good, you probably fried something, have a bad connection or switch, etc.

Next time, you should disconnect your battery before you mess with anything electrical.


There are also a couple DIY's from the FAQ's that may or may not be of some help.

 

Thanx i thought i checked all the fuses but i guess i skipped over that one as soon as i replaced it they came right on.
