I have a walbro pump laying around and was wondering if i should just hook it up ...i have a greddy turbo kit on a d16y8 with colder plugs at 6psi. would it run better at 8psi?

 

Goin up, free bump, I've got a greddy kit that shows up on Wedensday, and I already have a Walbro installed. I'd like to know what other people have done as far as upping the boost as well.

I also have the upgraded fuel pump along with the blue box. If you stay under 7psi the blue box will perform great, if you boost more then your at risk. Intercooler also helps on detonation.

 

yes, run the 255lph w/ the blue box. It will help.

 

I had 12.0-12.5 a/f ratio's all the way to redline from just running the blue box alone @ 5-7 psi.

 

whats a good air fuel ratio running on a d16y8 at 6lbs?

ya it will run fine i boost 9 psi with NO DENATION EVER, with my blue box and stock injectors but i have
NGK Stage 2 Colder Plugs
AEM Fuel Rail
AEM Fuel Presure Regulator
AEM Fuel Filter

I have my Fuel at 41 idel nad 46-8ish WOT
