What Exhaust MANIFOLD???? =)
YUp.I did a search.
What the heck can I got with?
I DONT want:
SFP(mild steel)
INline pro(cast)
Maybe Want:
Maxrev..but I think I will run into fitment probs with the turbo I have?????
Any other recommendations(I would really like a Full race mani but $$ wont allow it and I want to keep my a/c!)
any other suggestions? i cant think of anything.
Im not telling you my turbo
but it does have a 4" inlet. so that shoudl give you an idea as to the size im working with.
(it is a t3 exhaust side too)

Why not the Cast inlinepro?
There will be no real power differences over a full race mani, and it should be more resistant to cracking compared to a welded mani. It will also allow the use of AC.
Just don't like the look?

I've got my manifold search narrowed down to the full-race manifold vs the revhard equal length manifold (for b-series). Can anyone give me some advice to push me one way or the other?

thanks... its actaully a customers car not mine and the trans came from michaelson's in north jersey, so its definaetly legal
For some reason all the trannies that come from that place never have the tags left.
thanks for lookin out tho, i dont touch hot stuff.

is your stuff even thicker than max revs???(if i buy your mani ill never go turbo
,i will just have a few PIMPN parts)

Bryson, how do you figure there will be no power differences between manifolds? I am interested in that statement, as there is very convincing evidence against that statement
saso: no problem, thanks for the support

To tell you the truth....my only evidence that supports what I said, is that I have seen a 400Hp SR20DET motor only gain a few hundred RPM quicker spool with a equal length mani, compared to a log style mani it previously had. The Dyno Graph showed only a small increase(around 5hp) in the power down low and thats it.
I do not have any conclusive evidence how the manifold styles change power output on Honda engines however.
If anyone wants to throw out Dyno graphs to back up statements that would be awsome!!

if you want a tight manifold go to http://www.type-rracing.com
Hey, looks like my 60-1 that you guys "turned" down. SirKid, the turning of the inlet housing wont hurt flow into the turbo itself. The compressor housing flairs from 3" inlet, to a 4" inlet creating a velocity stack. Machining this down will not hurt the air flow into the turbo, and with most manifolds this is going to be your only option to get some kind of filter on the turbo to clear the slave cylinder. It will not work with a b16a, but with my new b18c block with thicker headgasket i have no problems at all with clearance. This is of course using max rev's manifold. And fitment btw with the max-rev manifold is top notch, no problems here and have been using it now for a few months.
thanks for the reponse but i really dont want to "hack" my turbo
ill just MAKE it fit
