Maybe this topic should be in the TECH section, but I'll post it here 1st.
I have a 98 ITR engine & tranny in my 95 civic LX.
Last week my clutch Master Cylinder gave up and I couldn't shift properly into gears. I had trouble in eery single gear. the garage fixed it by changing it and everything seemed fine.
This pass weekend I was driving on the highway and was @ about 6,700 RPM when I shifted into 4th. But I couldn't, my stick was stuck in neutral and I couldn't do anything. I slowed the car down and was able to shift into 5th if I'm under 5K RPM...so I did that, later I needed to downshift into 4th and AGAIN, I couldn't.
This happens when at the high RPMS. When I went from 2 -> 3 I had the problem ( I heard grinding when I went to 3rd..) and when I went from 3 -> 2 I had the same problem.
Could it be that the clutch lines need to be bleeded? or is it something worse with the tranny.

Bleed the slave cylinder.
If that doesn't fix it, it is probably clutch related.
Which clutch are you using and how many miles are on it?

Not all the time. When I'm in the low RPM's, it's all nice and smooth.
I've got the OEM ITR clutch

When the mechanic replaced the master cylinder, did he replace the slave cylinder too? If he didn't, then you should for it may be the problem. Rule of thumb, always replace the slave cylinder when the master is replaced. (an extra 40 bucks)
Try that and then get back to us. Let us know what the outcome is.
PS ..... always bleed the system.

Problem solved,
1st we rebleeded again the slave cyclinder, problem was still there.
finally we adjusted the pushrod under the dash and now all is fine.
