Default knock sensor problems!!!!

i have an lsvtec swap in my 90 crx si. b1 block, jdm b16a1 head, pr3 ecu. my vtec isnt cracking very hard and i have a check engine light on. i'm told its cuz the b1 block doesnt have a knock sensor and my ecu has the wire for it. how do i fix this so that my check engine light turns off and my vtec cracks right? by the way i'm running obd0

.. but FIRST check your ECU and make absolutely sure that you are getting a knock sensor CEL code.
(Currious - what ECU are you running anyway? PR3 I'm guessing?!?!)
