Default Mil on b16b in 99 si

Just purchase a 99 si with b16b in it. It's running on the stock Si ecu. The engine light is for camshaft position sensor short to B+ I also got a jdm p30 obd1 ecu. So if I connect a jumper harness and use the P30 will it go away. Need help

Just an idea but is the code P1337 for the CKF sensor since the B16B doesn't have one and the P2T will look for one. If so check here:

if that the case then there's a DIY to bypass it...i recently got a jdm block and found out bout that too and i bypass it in my 99 Em1...ran perfect with no CEL with my b16a2 ecu....here's the link..read it carefully...

The JDM P30 can fix that code but a JDM PCT would be the correct ECU for the B16B.

If you want to use the USDM P2T ECU, you can do the CKF trick to rid of the code.

Ok i perform the CKF trick and its not working for me so far. Know im doing this on obd2b harness, the wire colors for the second part are correct. Know its not C30 & C31, the correct location are C23 & C24. I perform part one and two did the quick-splice and cut the wires that are stated. So lets see

Well, if you plan on using a JDM ECU, then no. I had to do the CKF trick for emissions but switched back over to my JDM ECU after. No issues.

I use the jumper harness and my p30 no start. Plug all wires back to stock nothing either. Going to swap jumper with an other one see what happens.
