i have a 98 Ls w/ a Ls-Vtec in it. I have a coolant leak that i found after i pressurized the system. Its coming out where the heater core hose connects to the intake manifold. Its not at the hose its behind the intake where it bolts to the head. I dont understand how the hell that can happen.

im going to assume im going to have to pull my intake manifold off and see if there is something on the intake or blocking this.

Could it be something easier then this??

its a skunk2 intake mani on a B16 head.

any help would be thankful i really hate pulling my intake mani for something stupid

just clean it all off, pressurize it again, and get in there with a small mirror and flashlight.
point the flashlight at the mirror. the light will reflect off of it and illuminate the area.
keep this up until you find, with absolute certainty, where it's coming from

 

bust out the duc tape

 

Was this ever figured out? Im having the exact same issue.

 

Bad IM gasket if it is leaking from between IM and head..
