Default headgasket r&r

so im replacing my head gasket and i set the head down. then i hear something snap. yeah, its the hose on the bottom side of the intake manifold from the pcv valve. is there anyway i can continue to headgasket replacement, or do i need to wait and order that molded hose from acura?

you can continue with the headgasket replacement. if it is just the hose you can get a generic hose from schucks or napa. the only problem you will have is if you replace the head/intake mani, it is a major hassle to reach around the head and hook up the hose up again.

well the "hose" you are talking about made the snap sound b/c it is plastic.

The only problem with just using a hose is that the pcv valve is in the middle of that plastic hose. a replacment can be hand for cheap (bitch to get out of the intake manifold) or just disable the system.
