ok they are ziptied to the part of the cuff that goes on the countershaft

what i am trying to understand is exactly step by step how to get this thing on from what to remove to what to keep on

maybe i was a little vague in what i asked, but is there actual instruction from pulling what need to be pulled off both shafts to what needs to be kept

remove the 5th gears....remove anything BELOW the 5-r slider hub....brass stuff, etc....and leave everything below the gear. I would advise finding something to drop down into the 5-r input selector hole to keep the slider cuff from touching the liberty cuff and getting aluminum shavings in your tranny....happened to me...im sure it happens a lot.

bought mine a long time ago...couldnt really remember if washers were on top or bottom. i just remember they send it to you ziptied how they want it installed.

before putting it in the car, make sure it feels right on the bench. if you read some old threads, youll see that sometimes there have been clearance issues with these cuffs.

edit: spoolinmatt beat me to it...be careful with the 5-r slider rubbing on the cuff
