Default How to remove throttle cable from the pedal

Well I promise this will be the last thread about the part unless I run into something serious. But how do I go about removing the throttle cable from the pedal itself. I read that on a 96 you just have to pull the white tab on the pedal. Is that all? What if it breaks? Thanks.

huh? it's pretty self explanatory. you can do it without removing a single other thing from the car. just go look at it and you'll see.

it literally just pulls right out, if you need some extra slack, take the cable off the intake mani and the firewall first, then its really loose.

Lay on your back with a light, put your feet on the headrest in full recline and go from there. It is simple.

I was looking at it. All I saw was a white clip on the pedal. When I get the physical cable maybe I can get a better look. Its good to know that it is easy. So is there any clip? Also thats a good idea. Thanks.

What I did was remove it from the Throttle body, and then remove it from the inside. made it much easier.
