Default foggy windows, no heater!

The switch for my blower is out for the time being. Is there anything I can get to prevent the inside if the windows/windshield from fogging up?

Yessir, Rain-X anti-fog:
http://www.amazon.com/Rain-X-AF21212.../dp/B001NJ8982

Also, garage parking helps if you have access.

Cheers!!!

Fix your blower switch. Other than that, Rain X anti-fog, a dry clean cloth..........I forgot that type....the anti scratch stuff.

I have to agree, fix the problem.

Are you sure it is the blower switch?
A blower resistor or blower motor are more common problems.

Try this, use a jumper lead and supply a ground directly to the blower motor, stuff one end of jumper into the blower motor power plug with the blue/black lead, turn ign. switch on, ground the other end of jumper to any chassis ground point, blower should come on at full speed, if so the motor is fine.

Next would be to test the blower resistor, use the same jumper lead to supply a ground to the blower resistor plug, blue/black for speed 4, blue/yellow for speed 3, blue/white for speed 2 and blue for speed 1, if that all works the blower resistor is good.

Last, [or it could be first] test the blower switch, pull the control head, [heater control] unplug the switch, [plug that has a black, blue/black, blue/yellow, blue/white and the blue leads, may also have a other leads, but you only need to deal with the ones listed.

Again use the jumper lead, ground one end and with ign. switch on, touch other end to the 4 speed leads, blue/black, blue/yellow, blue/white and blue, if blower works, you will need to test the black lead for continuity to ground, if good, replace blower switch.

For a temporary fix, use a jumper lead from ground to any of the blower speed leads, so blower will turn on anytime ign. is on.

Or just use the Rain-X anti-fog as a temp. fix until you can fix it properly. 94

So hit up your local bone yard and get a new switch.

What is the MM&Y of your car, I may have a switch? 94

1990 Acura integra. The switch is the square panel to the right of the steering wheel with the blower control **** with the AC button in the middle of the ****. I haven't looked at the junkyards yet, but most of them here don't like to keep anything older than 10 years.

I don't have an HVAC in my car and it sucks if it rains. Luckily I don't have to drive it if I don't want to, but still sucks when the windows fog up. I usually just crack them a little and it's all good.

I'm in NW Arkansas. Rogers specifically. I've got one decent junkyard here, but I haven't had a chance to check it out yet.

how far are you from Little Rock or Cabot both have PicknPulls.

There are 7 G2s at PicknPulls within 200 miles of you, Little Rock has 90 Cabot has 90 and two 92s and Kansas City MO has a 90 and a 91, 14 more if you go to Dallas TX.

Sounds like a good excuse for a day trip, make a list of parts you need, and maybe friends that need parts can chip in for fuel, pack a lunch and make a day out of it. 94
