no fire cylinder #2
ok, I have had this car for a little over a month now, the kid who owned it before me didnt exactly know what he was doing... its a 1995 integra, with an h22a swap. it was running fine when I got it, but in the last week, I started it up and it was misfiring, so I shut it off, then turned it back on after a min and it ran fine. Well now I am re-insulating the car and wanted to heat up the inside to help the glue dry a little faster so i started it, and it was misfiring?? and I cant figure out how to make it stop.....
I have narrowed it down to the number 2 cylinder, and it is not making any difference if i unplug the plug wire or not it still runs the same crappy way. I have traded plug wires, I have traded spark plugs, (it has got brand new NGK iridiums) its got newer (1 year old) msd coil and cap, Newer 100.00 dollar wires, Ive tripple checked my firing order.... im going to try a compression check on it today and see if its got bad compression on the cylinder. I unplugged the coil to see if the cylinder sounded like it had bad compression, but sounded normal, and if its got bad enough compression to just NOT fire, then I should certainly here a difference in that cylinder when cranking.
Is there anything else anyone can think of that might cause only one cylinder to misfire....I mean Ive got gas, and ive got spark??? its like WTF!?
I do have an error code for the TPS, and for the main heated o2, But I dont see how this could effect specifically just the #2 cyl.

Re: NO FIRE CYLINDER #2!!!???
Anyone think I could have a valve that it is sticking, or an injector that is dripping instead of spraying or flooding in that bank, maybe timing or.....???? any ideas?

Re: NO FIRE CYLINDER #2!!!???
In case anyone has had a similar problem..... I remove my injectors had them cleaned....which i guess one was pretty bad....my #2, and I also may have had a short in #2 injector wiring, but worked fine when I put the rail and injectors back in.....so wont know for sure unless it starts running weird again.
