i have a b18c1 completly stock motor. i am replacing the head gasket and need to know what would be the best one? im going to be replacing the entire valvetrain next week so i am preparing for that... would a cometic 81mm bore .027 thickness gasket work fine? this is going to remain an NA build for auto-x... thanks for any response

 

most people will say go back oem. i have a cometic and personally havent had any problems man

 

OEM for sure...make sure you take the head to a machine shop to have it milled to ensure it is nice and straight before reassembly. Might as well have them inspect the valves and replace the seals. Also get new head studs.
