Im currently working on my neighbors 4dr eg, its getting NO spark or fuel. Replaced the main relay, still no power to the pump and no spark, cracks over all day though. Also cheked all fuses and they are all in good shape. Any input could help.

 

Triple check 15A hood fuse 31 and 15A dash fuse 24.

Also make sure the G101 ground wire connected to the thermostat housing is clean and tight.

Next, unplug the MAP sensor, turn the key to ON(II), and measure voltage to body ground for each of three terminals in the wire harness plug. What voltages do you read for each wire?

 

all the fuses are good, the #8 pin on the relay (ground for the fuel pump) wasnt good, if i ground it seperatly the pump will prime and work on ignition but still no spark, im gonna check the map now

 

checked the map sensor and non of the pins have any voltage with the key on

 

Did you check the G101 ground wire? Sand it clean and tighten it. The #8 main relay wire and the ECU are grounded by G101.

 

Do you have gas in the car ?

 

Checked the Ther.Stat Ground (G101) its tight and in good shape. Im going to check and see if the ecu is getting power tomorrow. Ill update if i stumble upon anything new.
