We were attempting to install a fuel cutoff switch in my friends 96 integra. We cut the yellow/green wire and tried starting the car and it didnt work so it was the correct wire to cut.
So we spliced into the main wire and connected it to some 18 gauge wire that connected to the swtich. Before soldering the wire together, we tested it out and it worked.
After we soldered it together, the car wouldnt start anymore. So we took off the new wire and just connected the original wires back together, like how it was before. The car still would not start. So what is the problem? Could it be a fuse?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
