Default ej1 "hotsauce" ls-t swap/ semi build thread

Some may know this car others may not. Used to have a stockblock gsr that i made 390whp at 13-15psi on e85 with. Had alot of fun while it lasted. Had my coupe sitting for a good 6 months now and the itch has been hitting hard. Due to expenses having the motor of my dreams for my civic is taking some time. I had a beat up crx with a good running ls sitting around and figured wth. While im finishing up the super motor lol, i can throw a lst in my car quick so i can at least get some enjoyment out of it instead of watching it sit. especially since i already had all the parts to make it work. Even avoided mating my gsr head to the ls block just to keep things simple. So i finally pulled the ls from the rex last week and started prepping it for boost. New seals and gaskets throughout. cleaned everything and changed all fluids. Using alot of the same parts i had on the car before. Anyways bonestock ls besides some bc cams and aem cam gears. Using my gsr hydro tranny, act lightweight flywheel and 6puk clutch, precision sc50, inline pro log mani, tial 38mm, custom dump tube, custom 3 in dp to 3 in straight pipe, greddy fmic, fuel injector clinic 550cc, walbro 255 lph, tuning w/ crome on 8psi. Hoping to see 250whp or so. Just wanting a reliable dd tune.

well after finally fixing everything, including the mysterious no power to relay problem and 3 coolant leaks, i finally decided to update the thread. power issue was a broken wire in the harness i couldnt see. (slaps self). Andrei from abel racing in okc gave me a conservative pump gas tune on 8psi it made 214whp and 196wtq with a very nice power curve. pulls hard for a dd lol. anyways ill post the dyno chart and some pics of the finished car after bit. maybe some vids of it smashin to lol.
