What's wrong with the diagram you were given?

 

Might be better to start by figuring out what may be wrong with the current power window wiring job. It might turn out to be a simple fix.

 

Just run direct power (+/-) from battery to window motor to get the windows up.

 

If you just want the windows up. You can pull the door panel and hit power directly to the motor. That will get the windows up until you get the other wiring for it.

 

I'm sorry to say but I think this project is worthy of a re-do. Trying to de-clusterfuch someone else's work will be more frustrating than just doing in yourself properly.

 

Don't you hate buying somthing to find out stuff's been ricer rigged, and you couldnt tell untill the car was torn apart! Im in the process of correcting mine as well.... Anyhow your going to have to get power to that window motor, either pull the panel, or find out why its not working by tracing wires, either way you may still have to pull the door panel..

 

You could tap into the wire to too the radio

 

OP you need to read up on all the DIYs for this install - they have all your answers. You are by no means the first person to add power windows to your ride .... start by checking the FAQs.

 

So the windows WERE working. Obviously whatever you did caused the non-working condition. If you can remember what you did you might be able to get them working again until you get a new harness.
