Default Crank pulley help

I have a 1993 Civic Si with Sohc ZC vtech motor and the crank pulley (somewhere on the highway) fell off, along with the bolt and woodruff key. I've searched around and got different bits of information. Can i use the parts off the D16a6 motor from the 88-91 civic SI? Also, here is the list of parts that I'm going to purchase: Crank pulley, Woodruff key, bolt+washer. Can someone let me know if I'm missing anything else? Here is a photo for you guys have a better look. Thanks in advance.

I called and asked Honda dealership if the parts are compatible with one another and they have no clue.

I don't know which pulley you can interchange with....but I can say that you might need a new crank....

That keyway looks wasted! I don't think a new woodruff key is going to keep the pulley in place.

Not trying to bring you down man....it just really looks bad.

i dont think just getting a key and crank pulley with bolt and woodruff key will fix your problem. it looks pretty rounded off like u would need a new crank. you can try it. i believe i have a spare z6 crank pulley if ur looking for one. its the same as a zc

Replace the crankshaft or the block.

Do you think I can buy the parts from Honda and if it doesn't work I can return the items for a refund? I am going to try the pulley off the d16a6, which should fit from searching the net.

@RonJ - Do you recommend replacing the whole engine instead of fixing the expensive crankshaft?

Thanks for all of your help.

If you have the experience and skill, replace the crankshaft.

Get another Z6 crank.

If your not experienced in doing that sort of thing (basically a full re-build) then try and find another short/long block and swap it out.

On top of the crank being damaged, there's no telling what lies inside.

Half the key is still lodged in the key whole. Any way to take that out?

You want parts for a D16Z6. That keyway is pretty messed up. You can try welding it with a torch or bronzing it and cutting out a new keyway. Don't try to weld it with an electric welder as it may arc through the main bearings. Other than that you'll have to at the very least replace the crank.

Thanks for the help fellas. I just need my car running temporarily, since I'm leaving to the military anyways. Going to go to the Marketplace for some parts.

Its not shocking that the pulley fell off after seeing that key hole. A new one is going to do the same thing... Im sure you can pick a block up for next to nothing.
