95 Civic DX - cheap performance upgrades?
tune up, synthetics in engine, trans, diff. Other than that NOS is the most cost effective depending on your application. Cold air intakes, intake mani will give a few hp. Turbo after that. But thats expensive

10psi actually means nothing without knowing the size of the turbo. and its not the PSI the blows motors, (in this case) its trying to run more HP than what the components can handle... What engine do you have. I mot sure if its true for all d series motors, but i know the z6 is usually good for up to 250HP if the engine is in near perfect condition. Personally, when i do my turbo, im not goon go over 220.
If you don't even know what motor is in your car you're no where NEAR ready to even think about trying to go the forced induction route.
Yeah. What do I know about putting a turbo on a car? If you don't even have knowledge of the basic things like what engine is in your car how do you expect to modify it? You won't even have the first clue on whether or not the parts you are looking at will even fit. Don't get all up in arms.
going by your other post, i would say you have lots of things to worry about before doing any thing performance. get the motor running well with no issues, and everytihgn else if top condition before you start worring about performance. then when your are ready, read the FAQ
the overheating thing is the only proob. i am havin, i have done an almost complete tune up since i got it a couple of weeks ago, im just trying to do a little research on the basics of turbos, how they work, wat they do, etc., this is def a long way away, just curious, and im callin the honda company tomorrow to find out what car the engin came from, that all they can tell me
yeah, well because of hat overheat. you really need to do a compression test to see about the possibility of you warping the head (warped head wont seal agenst the headgasket and cause compression loss) and a few other test to actually see if it is "running well" the motor could be warn out and need more work before you start doing major mods.

No turbo. Ur asking about a dx not a si not even the right engine is in the dx u will blow it up before u see ur money's worth after installing the turbo. Real ish just save those penny's I'm in same boat. So I saving my pennies... After I pay off my expenses on this head gasket repair. Did it myself.
