I'm stumped, idle bouncing
Ok so I have an obd0 lsv b16a head with b18a1 block I keep on having a idle that bounces between 1500 to 3000 and sometimes 900 to 1800 I cleaned the IACV and FITV and still have the idle issue check for a vacuum leak and nothing so I cover the bottom hole on the tb and it helped a little bit but when I covered the top hole it fixed the problem so I just replaced the IACV and still nothing I have also bled the coolant system and no help at all
Can anyone help me I might replace the FITV to see if that helps but I don't wan to slend anymore money if that not the problem

Ok well when I turn on the car the car revs up to 3000 then stays there for awhile then it drops to about 1500 and bounce between 1500 and 2500 but sometime when it's already warmed up and I turn on the car it'll bounce between 900 to 1800 or so I can check the vacuum hoses again if it's necessary I'm just saying that when cover the IACV hole on the tb it idles normal and I believed itto be a faulty IACV so I replaced it and still no fix
The cold bypass valve is also known as the FITV I have already cleaned and screwed it back in. Like I said above it idles normally when I cover the 2nd hole on top not the bottom. I do thank you for trying to help me

Little metal box right against the firewall by the driver side. Has I believe two sets of plugs running to it. If you have access to a wrecking yard just grab one from another EF and see what happens.
Well, I bought a PM6 a few years back to do a dpfi to mpfi and worked great. I am now building a LS/V (B18a1/B16a) PR3 head, and from my understanding you need an ecu that will run it. Now your vehicle wiring is obd0 so you would need to hack it to obd1 or use the jumper:

and run a p28 chipped with a base map for your motor.

Also the fuel pressure from the stock fuel pump on the EF shouldn't be enough to run your new injector setup. If it's the OEM it was designed to run two injectors on the DPFI setup.
Well I have an si so it was never dpfi and unless I'm going to go big on my lsv which I'm not ima stick to obd0 but I will pick up an pr3 or pw0 ecu to see if that helps
