It's Saturday and i wasn't too busy at work so i figured i'd work on my car for the last hour. Anyways, i removed my Profec b so i can sell it and hooked up the vacuum line to the Tial. I've been hitting around 8.1 bar usually. Well, that's what the Blitz DTT tells me. My Autometer boost gauge reads ten pounds. Both gauges are bunk and need to be replaced. So after i took out the profec i went for a test drive and i hit .99 bar. My car felt unreal. I couldn't even hook up in third. Well i guess the stress destroyed the wastegate pipe that connects the wastegate to the manifold. I destroyed it, cracked it in half. So i drove back to the shop and replaced it with another one i had. I also changed out the spring in the wastegate. Now the boost gauge says i'm hitting 8 pounds. The car still feels very strong. I'm going to hook up my turbo xs boost controller and go retune again next week. hitting .99 bar felt great. So i think the road to standalone might be getting shorter. Well, i just thought i'd share that..peace

 

its addicting man. I have dreams of seeing my greddy boost guage go into the red sometimes. thats 1.5bar

Ur car is already pretty fast. I cant wait to see it at 1bar daily. were gonna have fun.

 

1 bar daily makes it all worth it. i was running that at 350hp and never spun my wheels. with good tires, you will have smiles all day long.

Right no i'm hitting between 8-9 lbs and the car still feels great.it feels faster than it did on more boost...on the way home today i punched it in third and the car felt like it pulled harder...i don't know, maybe i'm tripping.

Its funny, I used to dream of it going into the red, now I dream of it going past the red.

 

my goal is 1500 whp at 55psi , how far past the red is that?
