Default heat/headlight issue

I got a 1988 hatchback. Just recently when i turn on my heater full blast my brights come on very dim along, with the blue brights light in the dash . If you turn the heater off, then the brights go off.i haven't tampered with anything under the dash. Any ideas?

bad technology. anything electrical on these cars effects just about everything else.

Youre bone stock? nothing done to the motor or wiring?
