I purchased this car from Hall Acura back 2003 with 30,000 miles. I purchased the built motor back in 7/7/2007 from Redline Customs in Mechanicsville, VA. All machine work was done by Apples Automotive Machine Shop. Starting in 11/13/2008, they performed such work as: Cylinder hone, polished crank, filed rings, checked head/ cut exhaust seats, milled head, assembly of bottom end. When they assembled the bottom end, they put in new OEM bearings and JE Rings. Since then, the engine and drivetrain have been operating very well. Keep in mind, this car has been a daily driver, I wouldn’t hesitate to take this car anywhere. With the current tune done by Shad at Abacus Racing, the car idles and drives nice and smooth. The car made 398 WHP Uncorrected, 410 WHP Corrected at 20 PSI. I have receipts and records for EVERYTHING!!!! Most recently, I replaced the clutch in 9/7/2010 so it’s fresh. 8/18/2010 Apples replaced all valve stem seals/ guides, I also put on a new OEM head gasket as well. Oil changes were performed every 2,000 miles with Mobil 1 full synthetic 5 W-30, as well as the sparkplugs.
