I recently Bought a y8 head and y8 Intake manifold (for a manual tranny), With a p2p (for a manual tranny) I think outta a 98 ex. I do have the knock sensor installed and running to my ecu as well as the vtec pressure switch and solenoid, according to the DIY diagram for vtec wiring p2p ecu's IAVC is hooked up correctly as well as map and tps sensor. And everything is TDC. Iv'e checked spark gap and all no clogs or leaks, But if I have someone roatate my dizzy some I can achieve above 7k rpm, but the bracket holes wont allow me to attach the dizzy. I have to be close...... car runs good close to 4k and above, but is hard to take off from 1st and 2nd. HELP MUCH NEEDed GlADLy APPRICIEATED!!!
