Default won't rev at all

aight here is the sad story. i've been trouble shooting and searching for a week now. i've done mini me on my car. rebuild bottom end b7 and y8 head. y8 was inspected and milled. To shorten my story. i reasemble everything using helms and h-t procedures. I started the car and it idle just fine. Now when I rev, it won't go up like it was choke. But when I try to pump the pedal it will rev hi. I check everything like vacuum leak, change the whole throttle including tps, map, iacv but the problem is still persist.

New hg
new intake gasket
im using a y8 injectors with plugs ( could it be this the prob? )
no CEL
im still using p06 box but the vtec solenoid and pressure switch were hooked already

can anyone help me. thanks

It more than likely your timing, check the ignition timing first, then try the crank timing. The later year y8 intake mani's had air hole around the injetors too.

Are you sure all your connectors are in the right sensors on the intake they can get switched around and will plug into each other if they aren't reading right it might be trying to cut out fuel

When you push the gas pedal, the engine stays at 900 rpm?

Did you check the throttle cable and linkage to make sure its working right and adjusted?

yes it will stay 900. I even pressing the throtle with my finger and it is still same. I tried everything including adjusting the cable but its no good. could it be the coolant lines?

you would normally be throwing a code. my next guess would be it has something to do with the ecu/wiring/sensors.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by ryc555 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">

</TD></TR></TABLE>

sorry i didnt read the CEL part. Clarify what you mean by press switch and solenoid "hooked up". It could be a TPS/MAP-related issue, although you checked them.

its ok. i do appreciate your help. I made a mini me project, its b7 bottom and y8 head. I hooked the solenoid and switch already. Im using a whole y8 head, intake, throttle everything. I already change the whole throtle including tps, map, iacv thrice now.I got the car with no engine harness so I bought an harness and ecu from same car dx model manual. harness is uncut and ecu don't have any burned.I have another Si engine harness im gonna try to put it and see what happen.

it doesn't sputter or do anything? just won't rev have you check to make sure the throttle butterfly opens? also you said the head had been milled(decked) i assume, did you adjust the valve timing or ignition timing to compencate for that?

its not bro. it will rev high in a certain point when it's cold and pump the pedal and if i keep my it down floor it will cut off. I changed the tb 3 times bro. i did valve lash and i am sure that the timing is correct.
