What's up everyone. Got a problem. I just swapped a b16a into my 91 ef and for some reason vtec wont kick in and it wont start unless I jump the car. It will stay running but wont move good just lags like a biutch. The head lights flicker and dim and the computer is throwing a O2 sensor code. I have a new battery, alternator, O2 sensor and harness is kinda chopped up a little.

I was thinking about getting a new harness.

Please if you have any ideas get back at me. I need this running it is my DD. Help HT!!!

 

check the wiring for the o2 sensor...bad wiring will cause you to throw that code

This, also get a new engine harness. Not hard to figure out what goes where especially when youre just swapping the harness. It'll save you a lot of trouble. if you want a clean/tucked look you can go with rywire's harnesses.
