oxygen sensor code 01 (extended wiring)
I am having a reoccuring problem with code 01. Engine is a JDM b16aII, car is a 93 cx. Everything is working properly, however I constantly have my cel come on throwing code 1 for the o2 sensor. The ecu is a winfab chipped unit and the o2 sensor is a brand new obx o2. I checked my wiring repeatedly and used a multimeter to check for continuity from A6 (heater) and D14 (signal) at the ecu to the appropriate positions on the o2 harness. I have extended my o2 harness (soldered and heatshrunk). Could my problem be that I extended the harness and it is causing resistance in the signal? What is the proper voltage that the o2 operates at, i know it cannot see even .01 of variance?

I have been told before that extending the wires can cause a code due to signal or voltage drop. But as of yet I have never had a problem with it. I extende mine a little over 2 feet an it works great. Are you sure you got all the wires hook up right

I have been through numerous threads on this forum as well as some others. On my obx o2 sensor I have two white wires (for heater circuit, one is switched 12v and the other is ecu A6), one black (shielded, signal, ecu D14), one gray (ground). Does this sound correct?
