like a idiot, i torqued my headgasket while it was backwards.
i noticed it and put it the right way. torqued my arp's to 80ftlbs
now i have a small leak from the headgasket below the vtec soleniod.
is it possible that i damaged the headgasket by torquing the gasket upside down?
or should the gasket be ok to use once its the right way?
thanks.

I would replace it since you do have a leak from the one side of the actual headgasket (as you say) - that could possibly get worse over time and cause even worse problems. Thats just my 2c when it comes to critical components like that
If its leaking.. then yes you must replace it. If you have it turned the right way and re-torqued it and noticed the leak... then there really is no other option.. unless you want to wait for it to get worse and have to do it again anyway...........................
