Re- Usable gasket.
I'm changing the headers on my b16, my current ones are smashed due to my car being so low to the ground. I have been told by a few people that the gasket in between the headers and the block are re-usable. This would be the second time re-using them. So my question is, can I re-use them without worrying about any leak?

Re: Re- Usable gasket.
why are you being cheap for?
just re-buy a new set from your local autoparts store.
its better to buy them before you run into worse problems.
and to answer your question, I have no idea.

Re: Re- Usable gasket.
If you're that cheap that you can't replace a 10 dollar gasket holy ****. You shouldn't be driving a car. If it's already been re-used and re-torqued twice replace the damn thing. You don't want to have to listen to a leaking exhaust manifold gasket 3k miles from now and have to take it back off and replace it.
