Default eg main relay/P28 ECU electrical problem - need help

I got a problem and need some help. I unplugged my ecu and plugged it back in and now when i try to start the car nothing happens except the rad fan comes on

hey i just tried another ecu that i know is good and same thing i found a blown fuse under the hood it was fuse 32 7.5 amp marked for the pgfmi ecu, clock replaced it same issue

WHat were you doing that you blew that fuse? A little back story would be helpful.

nothing i unplugged the ecu and took the cover of hooked up my data cable never even hooked it to my pc then i put the ecu in the car and tried to start it and that is where i am i just checked the main relay no power to it so i am going to back trace the line for now and thank in advance for any advice

no power to main relay all fuses check good i tested the groungs at the ecu on pins A22 and a23 ther are reading +5 volts

What car, engine, ECU? Which specific main relay wires are not getting voltage?

sorry its a p28 ecu. a eg with stock b16a. i also tried a p05 ecu just to see if it would turn over same problem. pin 1 on the relay has power and pin 5 has power when key is on. but when i try to start the car the cooling fan comes on. also pins a22 and a23 on the ecu have +5 volts

Do you mean A23 and A24?

Have you resoldered the main relay?

Is the G101 ground wire on the thermostat housing clean and tight?

hey guys thanks for the help no luck getting it going and yes i meant a23 and a24 and the ground is clean and tight. and i did not disconnect the battery first. Ialso check all the grounds under the hood and they are clean and tight.

thanks for the help so far guys but i have triple checked everything and i still come up with the same out come. just a thought could a wire have broke in the main wire harness be causing this issue

dumb comment, but did you just look at the fuse or actually test it with a multi meter? I've heard sometimes they can look good but be bad.

hey I just went out and tried to jump the starter and when i did the rad fan kick on and the started did not crank key out of the car.

fraid ground at the thermostat houseing i also had to add a ground from thr batt to the housing
