URGENT! 05 CIVIC WILL NOT START. ECU?
This started yesterday with the FI ECU fuse # 6 in the underhood fuse box blowing instantly when I turn the key on and the engine obviously will not start. I removed the brown relay behind the glove box and the fuse did not blow. Unplugging the top plug on the ecu would also keep the fuse from blowing. The relay is good. The fuse consistantly blows when the brown relay and computer are connected. Is this a bad ECU? Thank you. UPDATE: It was a shorted TDC sensor. I have no money for a new one, so it will just have to run without it connected. The big problem is that the ECU is now fried from the short.

URGENT ECU replacement question HELP
How can I drive it with no flash after replacing the ECU? I cannot afford a flash. Also will any 04-05 auto VTEC one work? Thank you.

Does the immobilizer disable the fuel pump, injectors or ignition system? I have no money to get a flash or tow. I have a part time job making $600 a month that I will lose if I can't get there. Will it run if I get power to the fuel pump? Can I disable the immobilizer? Thank you.
