Default What would it take to turn, internal to external?

I have a 99 eclipse spider turbo (t25) and it has an internal wastegate, I'm looking to switch it to external since the manifold I have is already plumbed for external. What would I have to do to switch it from internal to external? Whats all involved? Is it difficult? Would you recomend it?
Thanks for all your help,
Nick

All you'd need to do is....

remove wastegate actuator
weld the flapper closed
weld wg flange on your manifold

On the manifold it has a flange and pipe for the wastegate, would I still need to weld the WG on? The flapper? Do you mean the part that opens on the inside of the turbo? Its like the size of a dime? Just weld that solid?
Thanks for your help,
Nick

no, just bolt it to the flange
