Just wondering how would I remove the cloth insert from the door panel. I took the panel off thinking it would be riveted to the back but it turns out there is nothing on the back to remove.

Do I just pry it off and hope for the best?

i think that the non si model door panels dont have the cloth inserts, well at least with crx's this is true

 

Buy a trashed door panel and practice on that one first.

Well I took crxmadness's advice and bought a beat up panel for $5. I successfully removed the fabric but its a pain. I have an idea of how I am going to upholster it, and I have some SI striped seat fabric to use. So I'm going to attempt this soon.

If anyone has ever seen this done, let me know, I'd like to know if mine is the only one. Updates soon.
